After the Creative Live experience, I’ve definitely been thinking more about my brand and my business.
I decided I definitely needed to update my website with a few new head shots of myself for my new website (coming soon!)
I’m a big fan of twitter and social media in general, and another photographer, Michael Wachniak, who I have second shooted for before, tweeted that he needed some head shots done!
I immediately replied that I needed some too and if he would be up for a trade!… Luckily… He was!!
We met up yesterday for some lunch and a beer at Capones (great pizza and jazz restaurant) and then walked around Downtown Vancouver.
I highly recommend connecting with other photographers in your area if you don’t already have some head shots of yourself for your website, or need some new ones.
I provided Michael with 25 shots and sent him them as large JPEGs and smaller JPEGs that can be used for his website/portfolio.
It was great to meet up with you Michael, and thanks for the images you’ve been able to provide me with. You can check them out here!

Usually I try to make my subject laugh, but Mike is hilarious and this image below is Mike making himself laugh.. you crack me up!

All natural light bro!! Took them along, but didn't use them! It was a super cloudy day yesterday, so we had a huge softbox in the sky !

These are awesome! I've second shot with Mike, and he's just hilaaarious. :) I saw part of the CL event with J*, and I was like. HEY! HE'S FROM VANCOUVER! Ya. Good thing no one was around when I had the outburst :)

Specs:
I shot the whole day with my Canon 5D and either my Sigma 2.8 or my 50mm 1.8 (I loveeee this lens!)
The first 2 shots are the sigma, the rest canon..
