A few months ago I purchased a Mamiya MF film camera. It’s a beast of a camera and an absolute pleasure to shoot with.

I don’t shoot much film but when I do, I really enjoy it. It will definitely play a part in this seasons weddings, specifically for portraits.

So I thought I’d post up some of my personal work here and share some of the images I’ve been able to capture in my first 3 rolls. Thanks to Ruel Morales, Brian Van Wyk, Taryn Baxter, Cole Roberts and Michael Wachniak for being rad subjects for these shots.

I also really would love to revisit ‘Strangers Portraits’ in Vancouver at some point soon too. You can see those images where I shot with my friend Alex Beadon right HERE and then when I did it solo HERE. Both in London, England.

If you are interested in having your portraits taken, my rates start from $250 for a 1-2 hour session. Film sessions are $50 extra. You can contact me HERE

  1. These look super rad!! :) The Stranger Portraits sound super awesome. I do recall coming across that on your blog when you did it with Alex! Definitely something that’s out of my comfort zone.

  2. We all have to shoot for fun sometimes – and look how greatthe results are when we do. Going to go look at these “strangers portraits” now – sounds very intriguing!
