Unique British Columbia Wedding Venues
British Columbia is one of the most incredible places on earth, and I’m constantly humbled to call it my home. BC has the perfect convergence of land, ocean, forest, and mountains. All these beautiful forces of nature come together with unique and wild harmony. It’s been a pleasure to document weddings of all types in such a serene setting. Throughout my years, I’ve had some special experiences and wanted to share some of my favourite British Columbia wedding venues.

The Painted Boat Resort is situated in the heart of the Sunshine Coast and provides plenty of opportunity for some fun wedding photography poses. As a couple or as a group, you can explore the private marina, the surrounding woodlands, or the warm and inviting interiors throughout. Accommodation on-site makes it ideal if you have a large number of guests flying in to attend.
The Cheakamus Center is actually a center for environmental conservation that doubles up nicely as an incredible wedding venue. The natural woodland setting sprawls over 420 acres, making it great for the couple in want of something a little different and close to nature.

Serenata Guesthouse
Want a peaceful venue overlooking the Okanagan Valley? The Serenata Guesthouse Retreat is nothing short of perfect. You can enjoy an intimate wedding or a large-scale, lavish affair amongst the woodland settings. The private hillside environment offers plenty in the way of beautiful views, the dream backdrop against which you can enjoy a truly unforgettable wedding. There is accommodation enough for the wedding party too, so you can enjoy this magical venue with your nearest and dearest.
Situated in the heart of the Okanagan Valley, God’s Mountain Estate is a breathtaking location spread over 115 acres. This rustic setting is ideal for capturing some stunning wedding photography, with vineyards and Mediterranean trees setting the scene perfectly against the backdrop of BC’s sweeping mountains. The estate is a short drive from Penticton, where the wedding party can enjoy local shopping, restaurants and water activities.
This venue is located on Vancouver Island, just a short drive from Tofino to provide guests with easy transport connections. This large venue has plenty of natural light and is surrounded by greenery and nature, ideal for both indoor and outdoor wedding photography in Vancouver. You can hold receptions for up to 140 people in a variety of different rooms, so you can plan the wedding you’ve always dreamed of.
