Myanmar, Laos and Thailand

For most of February next year, I’ll be travelling around around SE Asia. Hitting Thailand briefly, I’ll be making my way back to around Laos before spending a few weeks in Myanmar. I first visited Laos in 2008 and immediately fell in love with the natural beauty of the country but mostly its people. On a tight schedule, what was meant to be a 4 days trip quickly became a 10 day flying visit of the country and I’ve been wanting to go back ever since. Now I have my chance.

Travel is so important for me, my growth and just a great chance for me to recharge and re-energise before a new wedding season. Last year I went to India and focussed on the north and Varanasi where the below image was taken along the river Ganges.

I’m especially looking forward to visiting Myanmar, an area that only a few years ago wasn’t a place one could easily visit. I can’t wait to explore.

While I’m there, I’d love to document any couples out there who might be engaged or are looking for a photographer to capture them in a unique part of the world. Of course, if you’re getting married in this area then I’d love to be a part of that too.
