A good friend of mine, Mike and I decided last week to go out in East London to shoot the local area. Mike is a really creative photographer and I definately recommend you check out his stream on flickr.
Mike made me pick up the camera when I wasn’t sure where I was going with my photography and although he didn’t know it at the time, he pushed me and made me approach my photography more seriously. I look at his photography and his vision is unbelievable..
We set about Liverpool Street, checking out markets, random streets, car parks and structures in the Shoreditch & Liverpool Street area, grabbing a bite to eat off Brick Lane (I had the veggie aubergine and halloumi burger … mmm delicious!)… This was later followed by a few beers with Nikhil, co-founder of Mixcloud (‘the youtube of radio’) – a post on this coming soon ;)
Mike also had his Holga with him and I’m looking forward to seeing the film developed.
Check out my fav shots from the day below.. Most were shot with either my Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 or my Canon 50mm f/1.8.
Comments and feedback are always appreciated..
Til next time..
