2017 Industry Achievement Award // BC Wedding Awards

Absolutely blown away to have been awarded the 2017 Industry Achievement Award at the BC Wedding Awards last month!

Huge thanks to everyone who voted for me – I feel so honoured.

I unfortunately couldn’t attend the event due to but I was nominated by my peers for creating ARC. ARC started in 2016 as an interview website that has now grown into a beautiful photography community and live event called The Experience // ARC where each year, photographers from all over BC, the Pacific NorthWest and around Canada come to Vancouver for 4 days of inspiration, learning, connecting and partying.

I’m so grateful to be surrounded by so many incredible creatives and peers in BC and can’t thank them all enough for this recognition. I will always treasure it.

The above image also recently gained an Honorable Mention in Junebug Weddings Best of the Best Wedding images in 2017.  It is of Brittney and Steven taken at Sea To Sky Gondola during the BC Wildfires where the view was covered with smoke but was incredibly beautiful. A wonderful opportunity to create some art on a wedding day.
